Weekly reads 3/25 to 4/3: Books I'm waiting on and digital additions

In my last post, I talked about books in the mail. These titles are on their way!

Yellowstone Cougars – It’s been delayed for the third time! I ordered back in December because I was so excited to read it, but I guess I will have to remain patient.

Richard III (Martin Freeman version) – I’d love to see this one (and the Rylance version that was apparently played for laughs) but unless a DVD gets commissioned, I’ll have to settle for reading the edits!

Richard III manga – What theme?

Richard came from Gloucester. This was punningly delicious to me (and Shakespeare would have liked it too.

The Sex Life of Tigers – This one was expensive and is coming clear from Delhi, but I’ve wanted it since I read an article about it last year, so I splurged.

Digital Editions/ Additions
I’m becoming increasingly fond of having books on my phone and increasingly unlikely to say “no” to cheap ones… Joining the digital library this week we have:

King John – I read part of Morris’s Norman Conquest (I plan to go back; I got sidetracked by some other book) so I know I enjoy his writing. And since I’m reading about one of Shakespeare’s tyrants, why not go for broke?

Richard III – This is supposed to the biography according to the various Ricardian sites I’ve been browsing, so now I’ll be in the know!

Weird Sisters – I was looking for Shakespeare retellings (who says I don’t get into my classes?) and this one seemed irresistible (and cheap!)

Under the Hog – This was an irresistible title for a woman who once owned a pot bellied pig (you are missed, Hoggle!) and it was $0.99. And, you know, more Richard.

Nowhere near you – I loved Because you’ll never meet me so much that I didn’t hesitate to click on the sequel.

I’m already plotting on some YA titles that are coming out in the next two months, so stay tuned for the next barrage of books!
